The photobook presents the reconstruction of my father's gaze through images (46), belonging to a photographic archive that he left when he passed away in 1998. The collection consists of 706 snapshots that were captured between 1987 and 1998. They were developed and processed at the beginning of 2015 and digitized in 2016.

El fotolibro propone la reconstrucción de la mirada de mi padre a través de imágenes (46) pertenecientes a un archivo fotográfico que dejó cuando murió en 1998. Este consta de 706 instantáneas que fueron capturadas entre aproximadamente 1987 y 1998. Fueron reveladas y procesadas a inicios del 2015 y digitalizadas en el 2016.

This project is about the process of comprehension about the death of my father. There was a lot of misunderstandings and confusion about his departure. This is an experiment of me trying to put together all the pieces of information I found and searched about him and the emotions of confusion and anger translated through texts. It's a combination of text (written by hand) and photographs putted in a big piece of paper. I spent almost 5 hours writing everything. I had bruises all over my body, although this wasn't planned, the pain I had after writing all of this, relates to the pain of processing everything.

Este proyecto es sobre el proceso de comprensión sobre la muerte de mi padre. Hubo muchos malentendidos y confusión sobre su partida. Durante el tiempo encontré piezas sobre la historia que me ayudaron a crear este rompecabezas. Este es un experimento en el que trato de reunir todos los datos que encontré y busqué sobre él y las emociones de confusión e ira traducidas a través de textos. Es una combinación de texto (escrito a mano) y fotografías en una gran hoja de papel.
Este proyecto fue desarrollado durante el Programa de Residencia del ISSP 2018
